We would like to provide you with an update regarding the status of your apartment community.

The mandatory evacuation order for your building has been lifted. However, not all utilities have been restored in full at this time. For those residents of Parkview I Apartments (9501 Manning Avenue), Riverside Court (10414 Main Street), and Centennial Court (1 Centennial Drive) the exterior and interior of the buildings will be cleaned and sanitized pending contractor availability.

It is also important to note that a Boil Water Advisory has been put in place. Please refer to the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo web site for more details (

Northview Fort McMurray

April 30th, 2020

Since the flood began Monday morning Northview has had to evacuate 10 of our buildings in the downtown area, among that over 350 residents. We have been fortunate enough to offer unfurnished units in our other buildings to those that wanted to take advantage of this option. So far, we have 26 families that have moved to one of these available units.

These families currently have nothing as they are prohibited from accessing their previous home. At this time, we are reaching out to our amazing residents to see if anyone wants to donate any crucial items that will help these families are so desperately in need.

If you are interested in donating items, here is a list of what we are currently looking for:

  • Furniture – beds, couch, chairs, table, air mattress
  • Kitchen items – utensils, dishes, cookware
  • Bedding – clean sheets, blankets, pillows
  • Food – non-perishable items, snacks for children

Please ensure that these household items are in good condition and can be used by these families. Items that are broken or cannot be used will be refused.

We will continue to maintain our social distancing of 2 meters (6 feet) due to COVID-19 so we ask that you bring your items to: 117 Stroud Bay between 9am-5pm so that our team can safely receive your items

Thank you in advance for your contribution. Your donation will go toward families that may have lost everything and need to bare necessities to continue to live during this difficult time.

As an added note since the main office has been evacuated and inaccessible, our team would be happy to accept rent payments by cheque at Jonathan Lodge – 113 Stroud Bay

Thank you again!
